In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with no superpowers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero.
I really wanted to like the show. There are certain parts that are witty and very hilarious, but it seems the writers have to throw unnecessary F bombs in practically every scene. I quit watching, after the episode where they mocked my religion. And the sad part was they didn't even have to go there. Why stoops so low? I certainly won't let my kids watch this as a result.
The pilot episode got me excited about the reboot. It doesn't completely have the charm as the first live-action but it's close. I'm glad that Patick Warburton is involved because you can tell he's trying to keep it close to the original charm.
My only gripe is that we got the pilot then had to wait about a year, then we got 5 more of the 10 episodes. I didn't realize that the entire season wasn't released and when I got through episode 6 and couldn't figure out why it didn't carry on and I felt hollow. It was like oh, end of season cliff hanger, yet it wasn't. It just didn't have a good feel for lets stop here.
Part of the problem may be that I'm used to services like Netflix and Amazon actually releasing full seasons and not just part so I can watch the full season in a few days and then move on with my life until next season.
I highly recommend everyone watch it, but only after the full season is released.
