The magical action-adventures of a teenage girl who learns of her destiny as the legendary warrior Sailor Moon and must band together with the other Sailor Soldiers to defend the Earth and Galaxy.
Usagi, a normal teenage girl, finds out she's Sailor Moon and gets into all sorts of trouble at the beginning trying to fight for love and justice. She then gets better and with her friends Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus they fight against the evils of The Dark Kingdom, The Hell Tree, and The Black Moon.
The worst cartoon ever created! Any Sailor Moon version is terrible. Anime is sooo stupid I can't believe sooo many young innocent American children are subjected to it's horror. It has no plot, is as boring as hell, and sends the wrong message to kids. The girls in the cartoon all look like their anorexic and Sailor Moon's attitude towards school is appalling. Don't waste your time with this crap!!
Although DiC did edit and chop up Sailor Moon badly, they made it appropriate for its time limit and age group. True, the Japanese version is spiritual, heartfelt, and beautifully written. DiC'd Sailor moon is very endearing and also very cute, and extremely catching. Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina are so adorable and cute, and also very believable, for a cartoon. The loving lines did turn into corny unbelievable-oh-my-god-that's-so-stupid utterencies, but it's soooooo cute for little kids. Also, the friendship lines still have the same meaning, although the romance was lost between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. It has gorgeous animation, and shows a group of great friends going through teenage life, with some added bonuses like having a past, being reborn, and fighting with magical powers to save their world!
