With its impeccable services, SalamAir has carved a niche for itself in the aviation industry within short of time. However, preparing to serve six countries on the Arabia Peninsula, SalamAir - Oman’s first low-cost airline went live on January 31st, 2017, with an initial flight from Salalah International Airport to Muscat International Airport.
The airline also started international services to Dubai, UAE and as of April 16th, 2017, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Most recently, the airline added Medina as a new destination, as well as routes to the Pakistani cities of Multan and Sialkot. And SalamAir also started operating daily flights between Muscat and Dubai International Airport (DXB).
SalamAir boasts of three Airbus A320s currently and also planning to expand its fleet rapidly. The airline aims to improve both domestic and regional travel options by providing affordable fares on underserviced and expensive routes, in turn boosting the country’s tourism industry.
