so, today me and kaci hiked up the incline in manitou springs, colorado. it's one mile (1,6 km) of steps straight up pikes peak. the picture is taken at the beginning of the stairs, and it actually is as steep as it looks up there. and the "top" of the stairs in the picture isn't even the real peak, it goes on after that too. but we did it. 2700 steps straight up in this freakin altitude (which makes it harder to breathe, for those of you who didn't know...)
anyways, it was totally worth it, the view up there is marvelous. after we reached the top we hiked all the way down barr trail, which is a 4 mile (6,4 km) hike down the mountain. so a total of 5 miles (8 km) today.
Imma feel good tomorrow.
(så.. jag insåg halvvägs att jag skrev på engelska. och bestämde mig för att köra på, typ. men i alla fall. för er som inte kan engelska: jag gick upp alla stegen på bilden idag, typ en och en halv kilometer rakt upp)
