THIS IS NOT ART.
"There is this an so called artist from Costa Rica, Guillermo Habacuc Vargas, who captured a sick street dog to use it in his gallery. Actually, he paid some kids to capture the poor little animal for him. Then he tied the dog in a corner of the gallery and let him die there. In front of Natividad - that was the name of the dog - you could see written on a wall "Eres lo que lees", which means "You are what you read". And what did this bastard use to write that? Dog's food. The poor dog was starving to death there in front of his own food.
Some people asked the dog to be released and fed but the artist refused.
Do you really think this is art?! Well, some people do, since they've awarded Guillermo Habacuc and he is due to represent Costa Rica in the Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008, where he is going to do the same with another dog.
