David Haller is a patient in a mental hospital. He has been there for several years now and life is pretty much uneventful. Then one day a new patient, beautiful Syd, arrives and he is immediately smitten by her. Little does he realise how his life is about to be turned upside and him discover special powers that he never knew he had.
I have to be honest, I do have a bias for marvel shows. That bias is even stronger when it comes to the X-Men series. However, I've put those biases aside to give the programme an honest review. Unlike normal programmes, you have to give a pass to the first episode in the series. Episode one will definitely keep you interested in continuously watching. At the onset the directing, writing, and music is amazing. You are left wondering how this programme could get any better. Well you're in for a treat. Each episode continues to get better and better. By the time you finish series one you realize there is no other programme that even comes close to Legion's excellence. I feel the only people that cannot give this a 10 are people that do not have the mental capacity to understand the content. The only problem I have with Legion is that programmes that I used to enjoy seem as if they were written by a high school drama class.
The only Marvel adaptation really worth your time, Legion is a series impossible to describe in words for a review. It's demanding, confusing and bizarre. But it's also beautiful and rewarding for those patient enough for the almost 24 hours long bad lsd trip it resembles.
