The Journal of Pidgin and Creole Languages (JPCL) aims to provide a forum for the scholarly study of pidgins, creoles, and other contact language varieties, from multi-disciplinary perspectives. The journal places special emphasis on current research devoted to empirical description, theoretical issues, and the broader
abstract of no more than 150 words should be included; instructions for preparing an appropriate abstract may be found below. Special effort will be made to expedite the reviewing and the publication of JPC Letters submissions. Thus, authors should ensure that manuscripts are in final, error-free form when submitted.
