how much does the Stock 2002 WRX transmission weigh? I'm going to be swapping my clutch/flywheel..etc and don't have a tranny jack, so i was.
4 Nov 2013 Anyone have an idea how much a manual transmission on a 2006 325i weighs? Saw an e90 video of it being lifted out by two guys and it didn't look that heavy and those guys weren't really that big. And I think that was a 335i, so probably a heavier transmission. Going to be changing out my flywheel/clutch
9 Oct 2009 Don't know about the 5-speed (it's still in my car) but the 6-speed feels just a bit heavier than my old 27in Sony CRT, which weighs 97lbs. It was definitely a difficult one person lift, especially straight off of the ground. soloist is offline

I I have searched and found only threads where people are saying its heavy and cant lift it, blah blah and ca18 engine weights . The manual cant be more than like 140 all said and done where as the auto is definetly over 200 lbs
