Consider the following when creating lofts with guide curves. Guide curves must intersect all the profiles. There is no limit to the number of guide curves you may use. Guide curves can intersect at points. You can use any of the following items as a guide curve: sketched curves, model edges, or curves of any kind.

15 Jun 2017 Good day, I have recently migrated from Solidworks to Solid Edge and am facing some challenges related to Lofts in combination with multiple guide curves. Due to the twist and change in profile as the body travels along the path I am forced to use guide curves, in a combination of edge locations.
9 Dec 2013 In this training video, you will learn how to create advanced shapes in SOLIDWORKS with the help of the loft tool as well as multiple guiding shapes and curves. This feature allows you to more precisely define complex shapes. Refining a loft shape with guide curves is a great way to create advanced
The loft feature is an important tool for surface modeling. The loft feature creates a shape by making transitions between multiple profiles and guide curves. This tool is very valuable for organic surface modeling. You can do some really cool stuff when you use this feature properly. That's why I have a brand new video about

Guide Curves are most useful for aiding the flow of a solid or surface loft to increase accuracy to the mesh being reverse engineered. They can be made in many ways, but the main criteria is that they must intersect with every profile sketch in the loft. In this tutorial, the underside of the handle loft shows some areas that could
Dear All, Hoping someone can give me some ideas here with regards to lofting. The problem so far involves a part that uses multiple profiles to generate.
15 Nov 2012 A guide curve defines the path that the loft takes as it interpolates between the loft profiles. This parameter acts very similar to the “Path" sketch available when creating a Sweep feature in SolidWorks. This guide curve can be a single sketch or several different sketches can be used to define multiple guide
