Ok found solution right after I posted lol. This worked for me: If your controller has not automatically been detected and configured then you need to go to the 'Control Options' screen. 1. Press Esc while driving to bring up the 'Drivers Details' screen. 2. Press F1 or F2 until you see the 'Under the Hood'. i bought my controller yesterday and it works fine... I have xbox 360 wired controller, and it was just plug 'n' play... but make sure you install the drivers.. and if it dosen't work you'll have to bind manually. I did bind it manually.
