This manual is intended to demonstrate the steps involved in repairing an average ding requiring a fill on a flat surface of a polyester resin board. FGH. Aluzine 2:1 Epoxy Ding Repair Instructions. You have probably heard that epoxy resin is hard to work with and best left to the experts. The truth is, with a little extra care in mixing and good instructions, you will be the expert in no time! Preparation. The ding must be completely dry; if it is not dry, allow the area to dry.

Prepare enough laminating resin to coat one side at a time using a paint brush or squeegee. Work out all excess resin and let each side dry before repeating on opposite sides.
