24 May 2015 Hi guys, I was running win 8.1 and updated to 1074 tp. Every network device, ethernet adaptor, wifi adapter, bluetooth etc dont work. The drivers install and say they are working , but when I go to the device properties it says "this device requires additional installation" When I tried a manual install with win 7

but the HDMI audio is dead. Windows 10 installed the driver it thinks is right, but stops with an error that "further installation is required." The event viewer shows this: Driver Management concluded the process to install driver hdaudio.inf_amd64_04c3e2018e8e6dfdhdaudio.inf for Device Instance ID
Many of my devices (PCI, USB etc.) have a note in the event log stating that they "require further installation". Has anyone any idea what "further installation" is required and how can this be.

The only thing i can see from events when i install a newer driver is "Device requires further installation" and then a yellow exclamation mark on the device .. to do all the crazy things youtube videoes and overclocking guides writes about doing one card at a time, and disable cards from device manager.

3 Sep 2015 I've been dealing with "Device such and such requires further installation" for some time now on my Win 10 laptop, although I hadn't realized it until recently. The message shows up when the Events tab is selected for a driver in Driver Manager. In my case, at least several drivers are affected, including the
