I just bought a used svs 20-39 pc plus sub, I have the gain at 9am, phase at almost zero, I used a interconnect cable from right (input low level) to I had fronts to large, changed to small, I manually adjusted EQ for room. I have SPL meter, along with some other suggestions. sounds much better already.

initially i had the sub manually calibrated to 75db using an spl meter. then i tuned down to 70db.. i'm currently using an anti-mode which calibrates both the 20-39 pc plus above and an older pci which doesnt exhibit any of these problems?!! :confused: the source material was the flight of phoenix air
