==============================
I read some of the tips here, seriously I wonder, how long did it take you to make a really good friend by our standards not brit standards I suppose by going to the local markets or instagramming. And I know how it feels to try constantly it's been almost 3 years for me and you're normally sociable I'm mediterranean too, have many very good friends back at home but to feel so socially unsuccessful. I don't know anyone where Iive, would like to meet some new friends Hi am down the road from poplar. But you need to be willing to make the effort to hang on until you meet people you feel are in the right sphere for you. I'm living abroad at the moment and I used couch surfing to meet people. There, I said it. I have a nice flat and I am a good cook. Other than that, all you get is their fake politeness. I'm 27 from hackney to. I've seen linked often here but there's nothing that really interests me usually, and I'm a bit tired of meeting different groups of strangers every time. Yes, years after we've known each other. I am a mother to a 3 year old boy. Yet unexpectedly she more than helped me manage my problems with awkwardness and angst. Even if that means you go to a particular bar to watch a sports game featuring your team from back home. I could see how the anxiety I was feeling was linked with a deeper emotional isolation. I feel your pain.People were nice and so I wasn't actively searching for friendships. You might start with a beer once a month frienda you can always meet up more. It's not that hard if you put yourself out there and make an effort? Always happy to go for a pint with a potential internet strangler. The Create Place is a community space that offers free and low cost room hire to allow people to share their artist skills, run workshops or host pop up events throughout the year.There are a few like minded people that I get along nsw and we hang out outside of club activities. My point being, it's a lot easier here due to the sheer number of people and places, but I can see why it may be daunting. I live in caning town and actuly just moved there and don't know anyone.
