how to find a word in foxit reader
Greetings Trying to search a word via 'find text' and the following message appears -foxit reader has finished searching the document. no matches found- and 'text viewer' not working either. What can be done to activate the function??? Thanks Tumla. Last edited by tumla; 04-05-2012, 11:00 PM.
16 Oct 2014 Foxit Reader. If you're using a different PDF viewing program like Foxit, which I highly recommend, then you can also search multiple PDF files easily. Once you run the program just click on the little folder search icon that is located to the left of the search box at the top right of the program screen.

1) If I am on page 22 of the PDF file, I'd like to search for "abc" from that page onwards. When I use Search in FoxIt Reader 5.3 it insists on searching from the first page. Multiple word search may not be exactly done the way you have shown in your example. But try to accomplish the search using "Advanced Search Options". To enable "Advanced Search Options" option in pdf reader, go to Edit tab > Preferences > Search > enable "Always show more options in Advance
In Foxit Reader 6.0.5.0618, the seach function only works for italicized text and for bookmarks and comments if they have been selected. It does not search the 'normal' text of the document. The pdf document was produced by Calibre converting from a mobi file. I note also that the search function does work
