Method 1 to Find Back PDF on Your iDevice. Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Open iBooks app, and click on "Collections" near the top toward the center. Choose "PDFs". Then there they are!

29 Jun 2017 I do some serious PDF hoarding in the iBooks app on my iPhone. Calendars, e-books, flyers, things I loved reading and want to read again, things I want to love reading someday in the future it's all there in a flurry of mismatched PDF previews. It would be pretty sad to lose all my PDFs from iBooks,
7 Aug 2017 Here in this post, we will show you how to recover disappeared iBooks. Please note that these methods also works to get mistakenly deleted iBooks back. If you have no backups or iTunes/iCloud didn't backup all your data, you will need PhoneRescue for iOS to help you recover disappeared iBooks.
Navigate to the PDF file(s) you want to add to iBooks. Now open iBooks. You'll see a PDFs button at the top. Tap it. You'll be presented with a list of all the PDFs you added via iTunes. Tap one of them.. and it will open in James Richardson, Recover deleted file, photo, video from Android, PC, USB, Digital Camera, etc.
Happily, it seems that by readding the eBook file in the iBooks, the notes and bookmarks are back. I had to redownload the eBook and open it in iBooks.
17 Aug 2017 Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you accidentally deleted some PDFs from the iBooks app on your iPad and now you want to recover them. To do this, you would have to restore an iCloud backup from when they were still in the iBooks app.
Hi allwent into iBooks on my iPad to view some pdf's that I had previously stored there(downloaded pdf's from net and opened in iBooks) only to find they are al. Is there a solution to these disappearing pdf's ? Click at the top middle to change from Books to pdfs? User #62359 3818 posts. doubledark.
