so I would say that this song is about that u should stand up and fight for your own rights in the society, that every man should be a free man with free opinions and that everybody should have equal rights to present their thoughts and believes to the community, you should be able to be yourself and have your own lifestyle. That's the best explanation I can come up with from " Get Up Stand Up", stand up for your rights.
