You are given the choice to obtain possible in the world you desire.
But no time machines, immortality, super-human powers, and such, you can infer from that.
But, you have to give something up or equal or greater value in order to obtain it.
Something logical, you can't become a billionaire and give back a dollar.
Youdo not get to choose what you lose, however. It is decided by an unseenforce and taken away the moment you make the decision, and gone forever.
You can, however, if you wish, choose to be a different person. But you don't get to choose who.
Is it worth the gamble?
What would you be willing to give for something you want?
Knowledge, true love, artistic brilliance?
Something as simple as good hearing?
