We all seek beauty in ourselves,
We look in the Mirror each Morning,
We perfect our clothing all day,
We search for compliments even at night.
We try to comprehend that we are as good-looking as our neighbor,
We watch and admire their dressing,
We compare and contrast in our minds,
We change our style to look even better than them.
We tell others, looks dont really matter,
We pretend that 1 hour dressing up today took just 1 minute,
We lie in the others face about the cost of expensive jewelry,
We struggle to act ordinary but dream of having a movie stars face.
We understand and know that not everyone is attractive,
We attempt always to find faults amongst others,
We remind ourselves that being beautiful is everything,
We forget, real beauty lies within ourselves.
