The Legend of Zelda is NOT the most overrated game in history, If people love it, it does not always make it overrated.
The reason people love it so much is because of the amount of innovation and difference it brings from its predecessor. How many game franchises out there that you can think of bring a new art style every time? how many game franchises can you think of have lasted 25 years? How many games out there have revolutionized gaming as much as The Legend of Zelda?

You know why The Legend of Zelda is so successful? Because it is far from a rehash of any previous games, unlike games such as Uncharted
(Which I love, but so far it’s looking like it’s about to go down the same way as Tomb Raider)

In essence, The legend of Zelda can not be called overrated if it deserves the rating it gets. You know it does. There has never been any game as revolutionary, bold and daring as The legend of Zelda series.
