I have like 0 experiance tigging, anyway I hooked up the ol miller HF-15-1 to a dialarc AC/DC. Using 3/32" pure tungston streight argon and around 140 amps AC. on 1/8" aluminum, I have to have the HF setting up to max to get it to work and even at that somtimes it wont initiate the arc, when it is working
29 Dec 2011 The HF 15 has 2 switches, the one on the bottom left hand side is a power switch, but there's one up between the lugs as you can see in the pic below that is not marked. . I'd play with the HF for the education (and call Miller for an HF-1 manual and/or ask on the forums with a clear pic of the data plate).
