Anyway, what happens is, I have a floorplan in autoCAD, which I printed to pdf and opened in Illustrator, then printed to pdf again along with other to a unique color, then when you paste the dwg into illustrator, click a line, then select similar color, then set the color/lineweight for all lines of that color.
17 Jun 2005 I tried to seach, but did not even know what I was looking for exactly. When I view my dwg in paperspace, all my lines appear to be much thicker then they should be. What setting might I look at to change this. All layers and lines are set to "default" thickness on plot. Could it be that my default is set at
15 Oct 2009 I have a colleague who is trying to plot their drawing to a PDF. Under page setup manager they have the plot style set to grayscale but when they plot it to a PDF, all of the lines appear very light--light to the point that when you print the PDF it doesn't show up. 26 Aug 2014 Lines are Too thick in PDF Conversion File But problem is lines in the pdf conversion file is very thick and also the text when we zoom inside. . Hi Divya, I have done some work with AutoCAD 2006 and printing .dwg files using Adobe PDF - I think the problem stems from scaling lineweights (or not scaling them - I forget
29 Mar 2012 When I export my drawings to a PDF file (Adobe Reader 9) the lines appear a lot thicker than the original when viewing the PDF at the default 100% zoom. If I increase the zoom to a higher percentage the lines begin to become more in proportion with the original. I've tried different resolution settings on the
I have to convert dwg and dwf files to PDF and I am finding problems with the line thinckness. I am trying to print (to PDF) straight from the Teamcenter Visualization Base to create a monochrome pdf, but on many of the conversions the text appears faded because the line thickness is too low. The DWG in
I have been struggling with too thick lines on pdf prints from SW 2010, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. (Vista Ultimate 64x) All of the small detail is lost. I tried changing all sort of settings for the output quality and nothing made any difference. Saving as pdf directly from SW gave the same thick line results. All of the
18 Apr 2015 when I save my layout to pdf some of the lines are thick and others are thin? how can i make them all same? Also when I save to pdf my text and annotation wont show? I created them in the model space, might that be the reason why?
If the lines are really too thick - as shown by zoom, where the linewidth grows proportionally - then the information is already in the PDF. Perhaps by applying 'Fix Hairlines' in AcrobatPro. If the original vector lines in the EPS a very thin - which happens for instance by downscaling a technical drawing - then
