In the pandemic thriller, Patient Zero, humanity is battling intelligent, adrenaline-fueled creatures born from a viral super-strain. After being bitten, human survivor Morgan (Matt Smith) realizes he is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leading the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
After an unprecedented global pandemic turns the majority of humankind into violent "Infected," a man gifted with the ability to speak the Infected's new language leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
This movie was fairly well acted and unfortunately did not utilize Stanley Tucci enough. The story was promising as the infected could actually communicate, which makes for an interesting Zombie film. Despite a great premise and strong actors it could not save this movie from poor writing. The movie was painfully dull at times and felt flat. The ending seemed as if they just cut the tape at a random point. If they are thinking making a part II they should pass.
Two stars only because Stanley Tucci is in it! The script is bad, acting even worse. Even big names couldn't save it. Can't even desribe how painfull it was to watch it.
