Hey guys, So soon I'll be getting a new amp. I'll have around ?500 to spend. I'm looking at the Blackstar HT Club 40 and the Peavey Classic 30.
2 May 2014 The club ringed way crispier and more defined. Maybe the Studio needs time to heat up as some puts it? Going back to the HT 5R combo after playing the Club 40 is such a big step backwards. I talked to the store sales and he honestly said no matter what quality I am looking for, the Club 40 is just overkill.

Blackstar HT Club 40 Tube Amp. I watched every YouTube video out there I could , read hundreds of reviews, before buying this amp. I was blown away within 30 minutes of playing on her. This amp has far surpassed my expectations. I do wish they had offered a headphone jack. It would allow me longer playing times
23 Jul 2012 My best tip is that you experiment with different speakers/cabinets and listen to how low VS high output speakers and speakers with different tonal . The Peavey Classic 30 lack a couple of controls to give you the same options as a Hiwatt. .. Have you any setting suggestion for a Rivera Chubster 40?
