9 Feb 2011 Brand: Whirlpool. Age: 1-5 years. 4 year old quiet partner II Dishwasher won't drain. After most recent cycle, opened to find dirty dishes and tub full of water. When I press Cancel to initiate draining, all I hear is a low pitched hum, but no draining. I vacuumed out the water and accessed the chopper blade.

The only thing you may not have checked is an obstructed drain hose. I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II Dishwasher Model DU1101XTP83. The reset sequences mentioned in the owners manual, as well as those in other posts have had no effect, the only lights that come on are the 2 mentioned.
