I was having the same trouble as you Classy. Always getting mixed up on which way to turn it. Plus adjusting it can be a PITA. So I broke down and just got FM's new MBC.
19 Mar 2013 I would like to add slightly more boost - it has a manual boost controller that I could screw "in" but how much and what will this effect? do I have to adjust of serious advice, which I HIGHLY recommend AGAINST ignoring, then screw OUT your MBC by 1/2 of a turn and see how much your boost DROPS.
