I want to put manual locking hubs on it and I really don't want to spend $1200 on the Warn conversion kit for a D30, as soon as I break it I am going to swap in something bigger. You need to take the high pinion D30 from an XJ/YJ and cut the C's off of it, and put the C's from the CJ D30 on the tubes.
28 Apr 2012 If you say it's do-able and worthwhile, what hubs/conversion kit mfg'er would you recommend? So far I've persused Mile Marker, but I'm still not sure if they actually make a hubs kit for the Dana 30. Opinions? . 19 Mar 2011 I know it is expensive but has anyone ever done this or had any experience doing one. If I were able to find one at a cheep price or a used one I just might go for it. Any experience or knowledge besides don't spend any money on a Dana 30, would help. Thanks, John
