11 Mar 2017 After few failed attempts, I noticed I only ever got sucked in after I let a gorefiend construct reach me (the skeletons that fixate on you). So instead of blasting him, I concentrated on avoiding the constructs and I never got sucked in. Took a bit longer because I wasn't doing 100% dps on him, but he died well

6 Nov 2017 Gorefiend is a boss in the Hellfire Citadel of Tanaan Jungle. Gorefiend is the last boss of the lower-wing of Hellfire Citadel and is a hectic fight that involves players being sucked into the demon's stomach and fighting the various souls Teron'gor has consumed and corrupted during his time in Auchindoun.
Defeating Gorefiend will open a portal to the Nexus of Souls, granting players access to the second floor of Hellfire Citadel. This Hellfire Citadel raid strategy guide provides an overview of killing Gorefiend for raid leaders as well as specific tips for tanks, healers, and dps.
Hey We've had gore on farm few months etc but since the patch this week we've had real trouble getting him done in a clean manner the adds (Player ghosts) just dying stupid fast to the point some people are not even landing inside before coming back out. 14 Feb 2017 Soloing Guide: Hellfire Citadel When I first drafted this guide I placed Velhari in the Unsoloable section, due to the stacking debuff (Seal of Decay). The debuff IS a nasty Gorefiend used to be unsoloable due to the stomach mechanic (Shadow of Death), but Blizzard fixed this in the most recent patch.
