I found it rather implausible and with much too little character development and believability for my liking.Having said that, I did turn the pages pretty quicklyThat always counts for something in my book; I'm just not sure what, in this case!If anyone reads "The Girl on The Train," be sure to let me know how you like it! I have to swear off books about girls on trains for a whileRachel Watson is a 32-year-old alcoholic reeling from the dissolution of her marriage to Tom, who left her for another woman, Anna WatsonRachel picked up the baby and walked her outside after having some compulsion to do so but had no intention of kidnapping herWaines is a master of suspenseful, heart-rate-quickening writingTheir babysitter is Megan Hipwell that lives with her husband Scott in the same neighborhood in the suburbDec 03, 2015 Raina rated it did not like it I was enjoying this book until I came across the terrible Caribbean stereotypesIt started off kind of slow, then it got pretty interesting, then I feel like the ending slowed down too much and ended up falling flatHe says the police now suspect him and that, after talking to her therapist, he told them everything Megan told him about Scott being emotionally abusive
However, the unfortunate woman reaches out to Anna after her death by leaving her a gold heart-shaped locket as a clue, but exactly what are the clues too?
