14 Oct 2012 Hey everyone I own a 92A1. It has a captive plastic guide rod. When I disassemble the weapon I notice that the rod and spring seem to bulge outwards.
23 Dec 2013 I was all ready to buy the wolff spring metal guide rod and their factory weight spring as well when I realized they specifically say "Please Note: Not for use in new Model 92A-1 and 96A-1 with captive recoil springs." I assume the captive recoil spring is what I have as it does not come off of the guide rod.
