Dec 19, 2014 5 speed transmission lost all but 4th gear gear is the one gear that does not use the counter shaft thus why its the only gear that still works.

Engine sounds nice but the truck will only move in 4th gear. I've successfully repaired manual transmissions (synchros in FIAT 5 speeds, etc.)
May 6, 2017 manual transmission only has 4th gear Engine and Drivetrain. (except 4th, 4th gear seems to work as in I need to press the clutch to get 4th).
So i came back home with only fourth gear and now it's parked inmy garage. Even manual transmissions have a “limp home" mode. because you are making one gear essentially handle the work of an entire transmission.

Jan 19, 2008 Only have fourth gear Transmissions. I can drive it around in fourth gear, so it seems like the clutch is fine, but none of the other gears work.
