11 Oct 2010 We are using Autocad LT 2011 & we have inserted a PDF as an underlay, but only the frame shows (no image). Fade is set to 0, contrast = 100 and show underlay shows on. Any suggestions?

Lots of people use the PDF format. If you have a PDF image that you want to reference as you draw, you an attach it as an underlay, starting with AutoCAD 2010.
After you insert a PDF file into your drawing, it disappears, leaving only the text to mark the location. To troubleshoot this problem, check the following: Make sure the listed path is valid based on the folder location of the drawing.
Running Autocad 2015 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit with DC Pro. The Acrobat Toolbar installed by DC in autocad will not show a PDF underlay in the new pdf.
31 Dec 2014 The best way to handle it is to stay with the pdf underlay xref file, and just be sure to copy the xref(s) along with the dwg file any time you transport the dwg outside of its original directory location. Save both the dwg and xref file into the same folder and AutoCad will have no trouble locating the xref. Looking
