23 Dec 2015 brew tap spl/pdftk brew install pdftk. The current formula depends on a specific compiler ( gcc48 ) with a specific build flag ( enable-all-languages ). This is only be a problem if you happen to already have gcc48 without the flag or if you have a different version of gcc . You can, of course, clone the formula and change it for

Then, use brew tap to track the spl/homebrew-pdftk repository: $ brew tap spl/pdftk. Finally, install the pdftk formula: $ brew install pdftk. Note that this formula requires the

Try pdftk. It is command-line software that can join PDF files (and do lots of other stuff, too, but that isn't relevant here). You can download it from the official pdftk . brew install poppler. And now use it: pdfunite input1.pdf input2.pdf input3.pdf output.pdf. poppler also comes with these other commands: pdfdetach , pdffonts

Installing PDFtk Server edittion on your Mac. This workaround install is necessary because PDFtk was pulled from homebrew-cask due to issues with it aggressively overwriting file permissions that could impact other installed libraries.
