I'm having the same problem with a bunch of pdf documents that I created by "printing" from web pages to pdf documents using a product called Scansoft PDF I bought the iPad2 mainly to read PDF's about photography and the issue about pictures coming up too dark is very annoying to say the least.

I've prepared a newsletter with colors photos saved as pdf which are being printed for black and white newsprint. The photos come out way too dark and lightening them only washes them out. But nothing seems to get the print light enough. Even when I run the brightness up and the contrast down in Photoshop and re-link, the printer continues to print dark (either printer). The printer controls (in the control window seem to be a joke). Read somewhere that Epson does better printing from a PDF.
I am using Adobe X Pro and have installed the latest update. My pdf, which looks fine on-screen is printing darker (and slightly blurry, but legible)
Hi there. I'm about to print my 4th book through CS, and all of them have been picture/comic books. It seems that puts me in the minority here (it seems most people print stories and novels, although I could be wrong.)
