Just another car passing by, boring...
Yeah, the sun was up watching down on me today.
Saw it as a cloudy and chilly morning so who thought it would turn out this way?
Somehow it reminded me of this boy, they used to call him Boring.
He often sat at his desk from night til' morning.
And the only time he would go out he'd hear birds soaring.
But there was nothing there, just another car passing by Boring.
Why can't he learn how to fly? How come, Boring?
Jump, close your eyes for gravity like the birds you've been ignoring.
Cause then, maybe, you'll find that there's more in life worth adoring.
And by following that road, eventhough it's far too far
Boring may just pass that car.
