I plan to visit Colosseum on Aug 31st and I am a bit concerned about the posts about long lines in front of the ticket offices. I read that it is recommend to get tickets online and print them to bypass those long lines, but that option does not exist for "audio video guide" tickets since you need to pick up iPad from the ticket office.

14 Jul 2017 Hi, I'm visiting in August and have pre-booked tickets to the Colosseum. I realised afterwards, I should have bought tickets which included an audio video guide. Can you just pay for the audio video guide on the day?
