So I'm assuming "camera geeks" will be viewing this thread so I thought I'd ask a question. I loved the Moto camera app on my Moto X and I really miss some of it's features in the stock PIxel camera app. If you switch from the stock app what happens to picture quality? Is the picture quality of the Pixel
22 Dec 2017 Unlike most phones, the Pixel 2 doesn't have a "Pro" or "Manual" mode that lets you tweak settings for a custom shot. The closest thing it has is an option to change the exposure manually, as well as lock the focus and exposure when you change it. You don't get a full manual mode, but this is pretty helpful.

Important: This app takes full advantage of Lollipop's Camera2 API, and therefore requires it to be properly implemented in your Android ROM.
I'm just curious if there is a manual camera on pixel 2. Will I be able to set my own apparatuses, shutter speed, iso, and white balance?
