As I walked through the hallway, my heart was beating fast.
My breath was going faster as I walked in to the room.
Everything was black.
The dust laid heavy on the ground where I passed.
I could still see the white mark from where the table used to stand.
I could still see where they found you on the floor. I saw your footsteps, the way you moved your hands amongst the wall.
The white marks shines in my eyes.
Those are the last marks you left behind for us to se.
I can still hear you taking your last breath of air.
I can still see your confused eyes taking one last look at our basement.
You make a break for the exit but you are already falling.
You land on the floor making your last wish.
Saying your last sentence.
Taking your last breath of poisoned air.
We will remember you.
We will remember all the good times we have spent together.
We remember your laugh, your smile and all of the joyful memories we have made together.
We will remember you.
