A small group of survivors are left behind after millions of people suddenly vanish and the world is plunged into chaos and destruction.
First half hour is nicely built up albeit with TV movie cast. But then.. oh dear. Should have heeded the other reviews, embarrassing.
There is the comfort of knowing that everyone associated with this will feel a cringe of embarrassment as long as they live. Except the religious ones and judging by this they are beyond reach.
This only gets a 1 star rating as I can't rate any lower.
Got suckered into buying this on DVD as it sounded interesting - if I'd known it was a standard 'believe in god or else movie', then I wouldn't have bothered.
Storyline can be summed up fairly easily. If you believe in god then you're whisked away to heaven............everyone else is left behind to suffer and die (not that you really see anything vaguely apocalyptic). Therein lies the problem - a non belief in god etc. doesn't make you a bad person, anymore than a belief in god makes you a good person.
A dire movie that hopefully gets no sequels.
That lack of concern for the way people actually interact renders the film useless as entertainment, or as a conversion tool.
