28 Jun 2017 Thread: Dummy installing Crunch Lab 7 and LiquiFire 7 Second, I know that some people place their Crunch Lab with this shiny long side directed towards the bridge, while Petrucci directs it towards the neck. But are DiMarzio have a whole bunch of wiring diagrams on their website which will help.

Wiring diagram from Dimarzio For the other Cap I've bought a Painkiller set. (Neck is not reversed wounded.) What do you think of this diagram,
I want to change the stock pickups with the Dimarzio Crunchlab and liquifire. and also wanted to had the pull/push knob for single coil pickup like the original john petrucci guitar. I am just confused should i put the metal bar towards neck like dimarzio site says or put the metal bar towards bridge. Although they say john prefers.

12 Jan 2014 Title says it all. Installed them, but positions 2 and 4 don't work, and 1 (neck) is clearly messed up. Only bridge sounds good. I read that the 5-way in these guitars is only for the 7420 config. I don't care if it's the same, I just want every thing to work :) If I have the correct diagram, I can fix it I think.
