1 Aug 2010 I didn't freeze the guides though. Didn't know I had to at the time. Seemed to work OK though. Not done a VR6 head though, I let the credit card do it for me Very Happy One thing I would do differently though if DIY'ing a head is to fit new valves (cheap from america), and buy a proper valve seat cutter and

Hi, Can anyone get me the VW part number for the full 12 valve guides for VR6 head? And confirm Head gasket set part nice one on the diy head rebuildany chance you could do a step by step how to guide on how you did it and ask dinkus to put it in the how to guide?? 1993 corrado vr6,in flash red

so apparently i need new valve guides in the head I bought used on here, a head that was supposed to be ready to swap in. Anyways, anyone know where to buy them, and how much a machine shop would charge to replace them? :beer:
