Oct 21, 2015 I found this chart and figured it'd be a good idea to get it linked on these forums. I understand that there's alot of moonspeak on here, but at least the English portion is spelled properly, unlike the 1st grade spelling that we have in the "English" version of the game. Enjoy.
For Tales of Zestiria on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Equipment Upgrading & Skills Clarification". that took me quite a while to get ahold of (not to mention reading the official "Dualizing Guide" by Wii about 45,000 times and STILL having to keep my laptop nearby for reference purposes).

Oct 26, 2015 When you get a piece of equipment it has a set skill in the first slot, and random skills in slots 2-4. These random skills have a chance to be doubled or tripled. When a skill is doubled it simply gives two times the regular bonus, while tripled skills give three times the regular bonus. Double and triple skills

Nov 3, 2015 This means that, simplified speaking, on average you will be doing 0.8 * 1 + 0.2 * 8 = 2.4 times the damage you'd usually do. So more than double your usual output. Also, each character has 5 equipment slots for a maximum of 11 skill stacks per slot, so the maximum is 55 for stacks but you only have 4 skill
