16 Dec 2014 I finally got around to getting some backup iron sights (BUIS) for my 16? AR-15 build by acquiring a set of Knight's Armament Company (KAC) Micro sights. KAC 600m BUIS - Wow! I've used a lot of BUIS. I'm a big fan of iron sights, and I prefer folding BUIS on all my ARs. I've been runnin.
All due to the fact that the special run uppers had the 2-600m BIS dovetailed into the upper, and no instructions for zeroing, as well as others asking for question recommended zeroing procedures I have created this thread. Note - I prefer a 50/200m Battle Sight Zero, thuse I leave my irons set for 200m and
Only use the ammunition type stamped on the barrel or listed in the user manual. I also bought a KAC 200-600m Flip-up sight. .. There's no way to do it with iron sights, as you probably aren't realistically adjusting for windage on BUIS, just elevation (which the KAC rear sights do fantastically IMO).
