When I Zremesh, no matter what settings I try, I get holes or horribly stretched polys (spikes). This one was performed after using Autogroup and setting ZRemesher to Keep Groups with Smooth Groups set to zero: And you could also use the Zremesher guides brush to further control the auto-topo.
problem is when i put crease guides it closes all holes and when i zremesh the object i get fine edge loops but closed object and when i unweld additional mesh and Zremesh the object i get spirals,i have tried with polygroups marking and freezing polygroups in zremesher option which gave me useless

13 Feb 2014 The primary use of ZRemesher is to lower your poly count and to reorder the polys of your sculpt as they become distorted during the sculpting process. It is not primarily a retopologising tool in the sense of making animation quality models, but with a little preparation it can be used effectively on simple
You won't be able to create good topology if you're not prepared to use software that lets you precisely control topology. There are no magic buttons, especially since you say you're trying to learn the foundations. zRemesher isn't the foundations of topology - it didn't even exist until a few months ago.
I've been having trouble with Zremesher because it always dramatically decreases my polycount by hundreds of thousands. Even if I check on Zremesher doesn't currently seem to respect the guides too well unless you really crank their strength up to 99 or 100 (and even then it might not work to well). This has been a

6 Sep 2013 The wait is over! Joseph Drust is back to share this new video on an in-depth look at the ZRemesher in ZBrush 4R6. Here are a few key points that will be covered: symmetry options.
The topology produced by ZRemesher tries to respect your model's shape as much as possible. However, no program can have the same understanding of your model and its needs as you the user. For this reason you can help ZRemesher by drawing curves on the model. These curves are used as guides to refine the
11 May 2016 Hey all. Trying to do remesh my sculpt using Zremesher and I'm not getting the results I wanted, so I tried using the guides brush.
