There suggestion was You have to specify your midi keyboard output as an midi - through input in the options setting of the editor software. With this, the editor will route your keyboards output to the usb midi input of the mc-808. Works without

Hello all, I've finally, after a day and a half, figured out how to use roland's mc-808 as a control surface for live. The trick is to choose axiom from the control surface list.
