Where did you learn? I got my hands on YATTA, but I'm lost. Quote · Report. A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more. I'm late to the party, but I think this is the best song. The thing about too short errors is that when they occur it is an inherently high motion place in the video, which means it should be safe to ignore too short warnings. So if you're feeling a bit lazy you can uncheck it and ignore them and no one will be the wiser. However this is yatta, we manual IVTC everything to the extreme

YATTA is a tool designed to collect metrics from several common IVTC filters used in Avisynth so that they can be manually improved upon. It also has several features related to generating complex Avisynth scripts for certain parts of the encoding process. The project also contains a few small filters that can be useful in the
I don't see how YATTA does anything more than Virtualdub's manual IVTC. The limited documentation seems to say "try a pattern, hope it works". Do I really need a custom tool just to trial and error different patterns? What I really need is a film strip vew of 5 frames kind of like Tmpeg's IVTC that lets me
Yatta is firstly for aiding in manual IVTC. It gathers the metrics from the filters you would normally use for IVTC, such as Decomb and TIVTC, and then gives you a "mostly simple" GUI interface to change matches, mark frames to be decimated, do not decimate certain ranges, as well as a few extra features in
Added an option to do decimation by pattern in all sections with pattern guidance. Added the new mode in TFM 0.9.9.2 to YMC. No more unsupported d2v format warnings. Bad transistions in supported d2vs can however still break ymc/yatta but you really should fix those anyway. Projects no longer contain insane amounts
6 Oct 2011 I mean it's not a huge issue IMO - you can barely see it watching normal speed - but if he wants it "perfect", he needs to use yatta or manual IVTC The reason as manono said, is that it was edited as interlaced fields, not progressive frames. So on some scenes at the scenechange there is an orphaned field
A guide to inverse telecining through YATTA. by shreya2mehta-2. (IVTC, etc) is a prerequisite to yatta. If you find yourself asking "Why?" to a bunch of things in this document then you might be getting a little ahead of yourself. The whole point of yatta is to improve upon the decisions made by tfm/telecide/tdecimate so if
The primary focus of YATTA is to perform IVTC (InVerseTeleCine). This is the act of correcting combing on the video source which matches "theorehtically" a 3:2 pull down pattern (ccnnc) and then removing on of the duplicate frames created by the "nc" match. The secondary focus is on focused source improvements
