You get one large bag with all the parts (many of them loose), a decal sheet with fills the bottom of the box, and 10 page A-4 sized instruction booklet which is very comprehensive. . I have seen all of the main four Airfix 1/24 scale kits (Hurricane, Spitfire, Me-109 & Mustang), I would say that this is the best kit out of the four.
I wonder if a forum member might have the above please ? The reason is I purchased the items for this engine seperately from my 1/24th scale Spitfire vb & I didnt think to ask Airfix to supply the diagram as I expected it to. be similar to the original engine boxed with My kit with slightly more detail ..in fact
14 Jan 2009 The instructions appeared slightly vague to me. It became apparent that Stage 1 only applies if the engine is to be omitted. I decided to assemble the Merlin III before painting it, and must comment on the good fit of the parts. Generally I found the fit to be good and minimal cleaning up of parts was required.
