The NCIS agents' personal plans are interrupted when each of them catches errors in a seemingly cut-and-dried closed case. Also, McGee and Delilah (Margo Harshman) argue over the importance of not discussing work during dinner, while DiNozzo bores his date with shop talk.
It's the end of the day and the guys, DiNozzo and McGee are heading out cause they have plans. DiNozzo a date and McGee has plans with Delilah. But Gibbs says that a Petty Officer shot someone so they go investigate. They bring the man in to be questioned, he says that he came across a man attacking a girl so he shot the man. Gibbs' gut tells him the guy is not honest. But with nothing more to do, Gibbs let's everybody go. But while they are attending to their plans they all realize that the Petty Officer is lying so they all go back to reexamine things.
What is any post-pubescent to make of this dribble? To Wit - adults with real lives capable of intimacy and sexual relationships. The most vacuous possible presentation of the feeble male. The most vacuous possible presentation of females out of options: One is aware of The Clock and the other is paralyzed - neither should have to endure one more second of these two idiotically compromised preadolescent buffoons. I suppose I'm supposed to be bemused by these ultra lame Sherlock's who couldn't possibly be more dismissive and discrediting to the charming females in their company. We know that Tim is seriously hypo-gonadal and is in no way prepared for any relationship with a mature stuffed bear much less a woman. Are we supposed to be in awe of his analysis playing with his food? And Delilah... poor thing - now that she's physically trapped in a wheel chair does she feel her life is tied to this hairless eunuch? She is presented as a powerful intellectual and she is enamoured by this puer aeternus? Impossibly stupid and juvenile.
