Go to your Revit Add-Ins tab and click the Create PDF button. This will activate a dialog box as shown in Figure 3. Keep all the default settings and click OK and it will generate a 3D PDF in the Adobe Acrobat program.

26 May 2011 Using version 9 extended of Adobe Acrobat, you can export your revit model as an IFC then bring it in to the PDF. I wrote an article on this in AUGI World before Adobe killed it the newest version, but I am a fan of DWF and using them over the web by embedding them in Firefox using the Autodesk extension

After you have finished your Revit model, the first step in creating a 3D PDF is to export the model using the IFC option. To export a model to an IFC format, you first have to be in a 3D view of the model in Revit. Then, EXPORT -> OPTIONS -> IFC OPTIONS.
