A group of college students travel to a mysterious island to attend a rave, which is soon taken over by bloodthirsty zombies.
This film is a prequel to all of the The House of the Dead video games. Set on an island off the coast, a techno rave party attracts a diverse group of college coeds and a Coast Guard officer. Soon, they discover that their X-laced escapades are to be interrupted by zombies and monsters that attack them on the ground, from the air, and in the sea, ruled by an evil entity in the House of the Dead...
Oh my god,after i saw this low budget horror flick, i couldn't belive what i just saw, this was really bad. I saw a lot of horror movies, but none of them were so bad like this one. The acting, the dialouges, the sets, everything in this movie was bad. The Zombies looked very crappy, like the ones in "ghost of mars".

The game was bad , so why did they made a movie too ?
Wing Commander was a reason , but a bad movie too.
This movie is so stupid!! First, the girls are all scared of the zombies and then all of a sudden they become ninjas and know karate. The whole movie is just running from zombies, and then fighting them for 20 minutes. And whats with the techno music?? This is supposed to be a horror film?? The makeup and attire of the zombies looks like it was from Party City. Ahhh, whoever directed this movie just needes to give up! And where did they all of a sudden get all that ammo. Since when can Zombies run and swim??? If that island had a history of people getting killed, then why didn't the police restrict anyone from going there? There was not one part of this movie that I enjoyed? I really think that this may possibly have been the worst movie in the world. I think Glitter and Spice World were better than this piece of garbage movie.

In 2003, House of the Dead, the first video game adaptation of Uwe Boll, who has gotten himself a certain reputation in this area, was released. The film is a mundane zombie flick with a shallow plot and a tendency to be trash. Five years later, Lions Gate has released a Director's Cut version of the film on DVD. The film was made into a comedy with new music, alternative scenes, outtakes and several overlay-commentaries - which is the reason for the subtitle "Funny Version" on the DVD's front cover. a5c7b9f00b
